The latest addition to the RTX 40 series is an upgraded SUPER version of one of the thickest GPUs. ASUS once again partners with Noctua to launch RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua. True to tradition, this version still maintains the iconic brown color tone. 

The newly launched RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua Edition is almost identical to its predecessor, combined with two Noctua NF-A12x25 PWN 120mm fans. This card model is built on the TUF RTX 4080 SUPER design, retaining the vapor chamber and heatsink. ASUS has expanded the chassis to accommodate Noctua's fans.

ASUS RTX 4080 SUPER NIGHT Edition

Known for its quiet operation, the RTX 4080 Noctua has been recognized as one of the quietest cards on the market, achieving this without the need for three fans. The main reason is because the NF-A15x25 fan has impellers made of low-resonance liquid crystal polymer, reinforced with movable shafts and stable bearings.

Reviews of the RTX 4080 Noctua show the impressive performance of its cooler, although the design may not appeal to everyone. The RTX 4080 - non SUPER Noctua has a significantly higher launch price in March 2023 than the Founder's Edition, starting at $1,649, which is $450 more expensive. At such a price, one can easily opt for the RTX 4090. Although ASUS is yet to confirm the price for the SUPER version, it is clear that it will not be cheap.
