ASUS introduces the Radeon RX 7900 GRE DUAL OC and TUF Graphics Card
With an almost identical total board power (TBP) of 260 W and ASIC pinouts of the RX 7900 GRE with the RX 7800 XT for these cards. The RX 7900 GRE DUAL OC has a length of 27.9 cm, a three-slot thickness and a height of 13.39 cm, and uses an aluminum fin heatsink with two Axial Tech 100 mm fans.
There are no RGB led systems or other cumbersome details to speak of, but the product will have dual BIOS. The default P-BIOS runs the card at a factory overclocked 1927 MHz game clock (vs 1880 MHz reference); while the quieter Q-BIOS runs it at reference speed, with a more tame fan profile.
The TUF Gaming RX 7900 GRE has the same DirectCU III TUF Gaming heatsink version that the company uses with its RX 7800 1 cm due to the stem pointing towards the tail). The cooler features a trio of 100mm Axial Tech fans and is typical of the TUF Gaming cooler design which is well ventilated, exposing more of the heatsink underneath.
The card will be equipped with a small RGB LED strip equipped at the tail. The card will also be equipped with Dual BIOS and factory OC which is clearer than DUAL OC cards, with P-BIOS allowing for a 1972 MHz game clock. Q-BIOS for quieter fan settings.
ASUS did not announce the price, but the expected price may fall in the range with the RX 7900 GRE DUAL OC costing about 570 USD; and TUF Gaming OC at $600.
